« Men and Me »
Is a photographic work, where the portrait is a space and landscape.
By looking only at outlines and shapes it takes away the person/ the model and treats the subject in a purely three dimensional way, as a shape, part of a space.
Inhabiting it but also creating that scape with its shapes.
How are we part of a space ? are we simple inhabiters or actors in that habitation ?
And how to relate to a space in a purely photographic way ? Creating landscapes and spaces with a seemingly traditional photography such as portraits
Are some of the questions at the heart of this work.
